Good News! Colonial construction work done & shared use path is open


Today, Steve Rodgers (BWL steering group and Caloosa Riders President) rode the section of Colonial that's been under construction and found that the road is done, the path is done, the landscaping is done, the cones are gone and the "sidewalk closed" signs are down.  This is great news for those planning to ride to the JetBlue Park opening event on Feb. 25th.  This means that cyclists from Fort Myers proper and from all along Colonial, the John Yarbrough Linear Path, and from the northern end of Six Mile Cypress now have a completed and safe path to ride to JetBlue Park.  Thanks to Steve Rodgers for staying on top of this and to Sarah Clarke at LeeDOT for making this a priority.
