Live in Bonita Springs? Next week you have two opportunities to participate in the City's Bonita Beach Road Visioning project. The City contracted with Toole Design Group to create a vision for the Bonita Beach Rd. corridor and its major north/south intersections. Public workshops are being held both on Monday 1/26 and Thurs. 1/28. Both will be held at 6-7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall.
BikeWalkLee is excited to see Bonita Springs moving forward with the Bonita Beach Rd. visioning study that the City Council set in motion a year ago. This project, along with several other initiatives, including the major downtown redevelopment project now underway, are bringing complete streets and livable communities to life in SWFL. Kudos to the City Council and staff for their vision and leadership on all these new initiatives that are aimed at making Bonita Springs a place that people want to live, work, and play. Not only will Bonita benefit from these projects, they are serving as a model for others in SWFL to follow.
