- Across America, ULI’s Building Healthy Places Initiative has assisted in bringing leaders together for discussions and projects that make the link between healthy environments and conscientious land use.
Now, as part of a statewide program, ULI Southwest Florida will be hosting a morning program focused on the Estero community and how area leaders have the opportunity to build a healthy place. Ed McMahon, Fraser Chair on Sustainable Development and Environmental Policy and Senior Staff Adviser for ULI’s Building Healthy Places Initiative at the Urban Land Institute in Washington, D.C., along with other key leaders and stakeholders, will assess the Estero area and determine how the Building Healthy Places principles can be applied to the growing community.
Whether you are part of the Estero community or interested in making your own community a healthier place, we encourage you to join us on March 12th!
