July 25: Upcoming running/walking/biking/tri events

It's relatively quiet out there in the dog days of summer. Critical Mass rides are mostly in the evening when it cools down a little, and are done at leisurely speeds. Besides that it is fun, taking part helps putting cycling on the map, and may in the long run lead to better bicycling facilities. If you plan on running or riding in the heat, make sure to drink plenty of water and avoid being out during thunderstorms.
