County staff and its committees continue to work through the
elements of the Comp Plan Horizon 2035 update, with focus on the land use element in March. This updates our Feb. 2nd blog story.

elements.
Updated Comp Plan review schedule
The land use
element is the next major part of the Comp Plan to be reviewed. The draft element is tentatively scheduled to be reviewed first by
the LPA at its March 25th
meeting (Monday 8:30 a.m.), and then by the CSAC at its April 17th meeting (Wed. 6:00 p.m.) Check the County's website to access the land use element when it is
posted. Subsequent to that, the Glossary and Administration Elements will be
reviewed, followed by a review of the complete revised Lee Plan. The current plan is for a BoCC transmittal
hearing in early summer with final adoption scheduled for the Fall of 2013.
